B.LOCK is a bike lock design system consisting of two components: (1) a high-tech digital bike alarm and (2) a kiosk which houses the bike lock rentals. This combined IoT-inspired designed system of objects were created for users specifically in the condensed, populated metropolitan area of Wilshire and Western in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Utilizing UX research methodologies and principles, my group were able to uncover painpoints from local bike users in the designated community. Concluding in a bike lock design with state-of-the-art security systems.

Proposed Solution:
By creating an affordable and digital bike lock rental service within a secured area inclusive to all bike users, we will be able to improve bike security for commuters at Wilshire and Western.

ACTV8 Fitness Arcade is a designed system of objects containing an interactive wall, a tracking wristband, mat controller, weight kiosk, smartbells, and AI earbuds. The system immerses individuals in an interactive space, using gamification to promote fitness through fun, animated visuals and tasks, replicating bootcamp-type exercises. Individuals have the option to join in on group activities in teams of up to eight players. The concept was developed to increase social interaction between participants in a physical environment through exercise and critical thinking. Gamification has been included as a motivator, as well as a distractor from the usual hardships of exercise and discipline for fitness activities.

Proposed Solution:
By developing a fitness arcade where individuals can challenge themselves, as well as others within their fitness level, in a an environment that is fun and interactive, with the ability to connect with others through gaming.

Project 03
RedBull TV

Genre: UX Research, UX Design, Mobile App Development

Overview
How might we create an organized space for event goers within the Red Bull TV app? Well, with an in-app event organizer, duh!

The In-App Event Organizer for the Red Bull TV Mobile app is for Red Bull TV users who go to live music events, but are inclined to not participate due to a lack of information and perceived disorganization of the general event service process. This is to engage the current audience in Red Bull events through the Red Bull TV app, increasing the interaction between users and content within the Red Bull event space. And unlike YouTube and Ticketmaster, my product will not only cover the event live, but give users the freedom to explore an event prior to purchasing in-app. In addition to organizing event information conveniently in one place, users who have purchased tickets to an event in-app are able to exclusively check-in digitally, bypassing long general admission lines and increasing user retention for the mobile app by serving a need for the user.
